The importance of vision originates from its ability to provide a clear perspective and strategy that will help direct you toward your destiny. No matter what you go through, you will be able to visualize yourself achieving all of your goals, even with barriers. If you have a vision, you will find ways to persevere no matter how many times you are rejected. If you get lost along the way, you will eventually find your path since your vision is your road map.
Although your profession may be inspired by your passion, it is not the purpose of your life.
The majority of people base their identity on their occupations, since they feel unimportant without it. Becoming a psychiatrist is a common career choice if your passion is giving wise counsel; nevertheless, your purpose may be to help people escape poverty, help improve an aspect of their lives, or work closely with people and impart skills, knowledge, and wisdom. If you are passionate about giving solid counsel, you may be greater than just a listener. I’m not saying you have to be a public figure, but you might be meant to make a difference in your community or family. Instead of just choosing a career, it is your duty to find out what you were created to do.
Don’t seek approval
Thinking that you have to work hard to prove people wrong is a low-level mentality. If you desire to elevate for attention, that is a sign that you need to heal and mature. You will never be able to fulfill your purpose the right way if you search for recognition.
The point of purpose is to help others and to make a difference. It’s your purpose, but it’s God’s calling on your life. You can’t be selfish or vain when you commit to doing what you are called to do. Doing good things with the wrong intentions will cause you to stumble or fall within time.
